Having your clothing custom made, has become the most popular way of standing out from among the crowd, and creating your own unique look. So much so, it is now the fastest growing segment of the men’s clothing industry. This is primarily due to the ability to create your own unique look. With more vibrant colors, patterns, and most importantly fit. Finding all three of these elements in the traditional men’s clothing store, no longer exist. At GLS, we have a combined 40 plus years in the men’s clothing business, and have assisted hundreds of men, with creating their own unique look.

Our process is simple yet thorough. We carry over 2,000 unique fabrics, imported from China, Italy, and The U.K. These fabrics are all of the highest quality wool. Additionally, you select your own unique lining from 300 lining choices, or we can digitize a favorite or significant picture.
Selecting the correct fabric is the first step to creating your look. As you prepare for this meeting, think about and visualize the look you want. If it’s for an event, find out what the dress code is, if there is one, and prepare to allow your imagination to unfold.
In this first meeting, our goal is not to throw a lot of fabrics at you at one time. This meeting is discover your needs and make recommendations on which fabric books we recommend, to help you stand out from the crowd. At GLS, we don’t take a cookie cutter approach, each client is unique in what image you want to project. From this meeting you can be assured that the look you are going for, will be accomplished.
After selecting your fabrics, the next step is for us to take your measurements. Unlike the mens retail stores that only take about 4 measurements, primarily you neck, chest, sleeve, and outseam, we take 18 different measurements to ensure that your ideal fit is represented. Additionally, you determine the type of fit you prefer. Whether it is traditional, modern, or slim fit.
Another reason that having your clothing custom made is the fact that there are no size restrictions. Regardless of whether you’re a big man, small man, tall man, or short man, there are no size restrictions. It’s all about the measurements.

Fabric Selection
Once we have your fit requirements, now it’s time to design your custom look.
If you want 2 buttons, 3 button or more, perhaps you’re interested in double breasted, single breasted, one button, or perhaps you have seen a design online that you would like to have duplicated, we can help you manifest that look. Perhaps you have a formal event and would like it to be a shawl collar, peak lapel, or no collar, it’s no problem. With GLS we help you create the look you want.
